The OC Marathon is ranked as one of the best running events in California. The course is beautiful, the weather is mild, and best of all, there’s little elevation gain. As a casual neighborhood runner, I was on the fence about whether or not the OC Marathon was for me. But after taking a closer look at the course itself, I signed up and I haven’t looked back. We’re the first to admit that parking is a special kind of terrible in Newport Beach. Save yourself the headache, hassle, and pricey parking tickets by following these handy guidelines: Let’s Start with the “Don’ts” DON’T park on or block another property – even if you’re just unloading your vehicle. Cross a home’s property line by an inch and you can be towed. (The locals don’t play around!) DON’T use commercial parking lots (like the Pavilions parking lot on 32nd St) for your overflow parking.
