DUE TO THE TYPICALLY MODERATE COASTAL CLIMATE, THIS HOUSE - LIKE MOST IN THE AREA - DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. 

PARKING:
One space in the shared garage. Small to mid-size vehicles. Access via rear alley. General neighborhood street parking when available.

LAUNDRY:
Laundry facilities in the unit. Guests must provide their own supplies.

RECREATIONAL GEAR:
Additional beach gear or recreational equipment is available for rent from the management at very reasonable rates for our guests: bikes, child seats, trailers, body boards, surfboards, large ice chests, wagons; plus Pack n Play portable cribs, and portable high chairs, jogger strollers, rollaway twin beds, etc. Contact us for more information!

NOTE:
There is a back unit, above the garage, that is off-limits at all times for guests renting the main house. The property owner and guests of owner will be accessing this back unit from time to time, without requiring notice to guests renting the main house, as it is a separate unit to the main house.

CITY TAX:
A 10% Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) is included in all booking totals, (for reservations less than 30 nights) as mandated by the City of Newport Beach.

SECURITY EQUIPMENT:
This property may use surveillance cameras and/or recording devices in outdoor spaces, and/or entrances to the property, as well as noise monitoring equipment such as decibel readers, to protect the property, guests, and ensuring compliance with local ordinances.

Bright and airy

This is a nice 3 bedroom unit near the beach at the start of the Balboa Peninsula. Bright and airy with a big kitchen and eating area. Kitchen has gas stove, big fridge, coffee maker, blender, toaster and plenty of plates, glassware, and utensils. Because of covid, there are no condiments or any food amenities so you need to bring or buy everything to cook with. Pavilion's grocery store is 4 blocks away and should have anything you need. There is a comfortable couch with a tv above a remote controlled fireplace. The BBQ on the small front porch works well and it is right outside the double slider glass door of the big kitchen. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms or bright with the upstairs bathroom has a jacuzzi tub. We had a slight plumbing issue and Beachview Reality handled it quickly and professionally. You are 2 blocks from the beach and the walkway, that parallels the beach, will take you to the Newport Pier and business area just slightly more than a half mile walk. It is nice that you have a spot in the garage because the parking is tight, typical of a highly popular beach area. I would definitely return to this property.

Location was great!

This house was one of the cleanest houses that we’ve stayed at by the beach! Playground across the street was fun for the kids! And being so close to the beach was perfect!

comfortable & clean

Comfortable, clean house a few blocks from the beach. Nice, quiet neighborhood. There is a park immediately across the street, which is great for children. Check-in and check-out was easy and we had no issues during our stay.

Loved our vacation!

Really spacious and perfect for 2 families. We had an issue with the TV and fireplace, but Beachview Realty sent over a technician immediately! Close to the beach, park and restaurants. Loved our vacation!

Clean, comfortable, very spacious

The house was so nice. Clean, comfortable, very spacious. The kitchen was a dream. So large and so much counter space. Sweet little outdoor seating:bbq area on the front of the house over looking a park. Loved the gas fireplace for a cozy feeling on those chilly Feb days although the heating system throughout the house worked great. We had a little problem with both the fireplace and the keyless entry and Beachview was incredibly responsive. Fixed both right away. Parking in the garage is a squeeze and I wouldn’t rec any bigger than a compact suv or maybe one size up. Very nice stay.

We highly recommend this rental for your next vacation!

We loved our stay at 208 36th street! It was the perfect house for our family of five. Our two teenage boys slept in the double Queen bunks and there was plenty of room in the other guest bedroom for our two year old’s large pack n play. We loved that it was a stand alone home with no one above or below us! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed as well. The beach was an easy five minute walk and the playground and basketball courts across the street were great as well! There were also plenty of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. We highly recommend this rental for your next vacation!

staff is so helpful

I’ve rented from Beachview Realty twice now. Both times have been a great experience. Both rentals were clean and the check in process is easy, they send great information to make it simple to access the home. In addition, their staff is so helpful. We have called in a couple times with questions about rentals and they’re patient and take their time to answer your questions. And when they need to send a follow up email, they’re prompt in sending the additional details. Today after we checked in, we didn’t know how to do something in the beach house. I called and spoke with Gemma and she was so sweet, helpful and happy to help. They’re a great group to work with.
