MEET Chandler Bell
Chandler Bell grew up around his father’s real estate business in Newport Beach. While the business was always in his life, Chandler went into sales and marketing as a young man. He worked in several different industries with great success. He and his wife of 41 years owned several clothing stores. Chandler also worked in the worlds of construction and computer hardware before leaving the corporate world to spend more time pursuing his passions. He obtained his captain’s license and spent many years running fishing boats. In 2010, Chandler obtained his real estate license and officially entered the business that he’d known all his life.
Chandler attributes his continued professional growth to his ethical approach to deal-making and his focus on personal relationships. His keen attention to detail and tireless work ethic along with his unmatched wealth of local knowledge of West Newport Beach and the Balboa Peninsula makes him valuable to both buyers and sellers.
Commitment to the Newport Beach community — his home for more than 40 years — is a driving force in his personal life. He has been involved in the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce for the past 12 years. He spent 6 years on the Board of Directors of the Chamber, chairing and co-chairing on the committees of many Chamber events such as The Newport Beach Boat Parade, Scholarship Awards Dinner, Fire & Lifeguard Appreciation Dinner. He also chaired the Marine Committee and is a Silver Anchor Award recipient, the highest award given out by the Chamber of Commerce for dedication to special events and the community. This year Chandler serves as the Skipper of the Commodore’s Club which encourages investment in the Chamber and provides leadership for local events that benefit the community such as the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade.
Chandler’s love for Newport Beach is evident in his commitment to the city’s betterment. A lifeguard for 7 years here, he is at home on the water. For the past 15 years, he has been the Director of Marine Operations for Hornblower Events and continues to captain sport fishing expeditions.
