MEET Cynthia Northrup

Cynthia purchased her first fixer-upper on Newport’s Balboa peninsula when she was just 21, prior to completing her graduate studies in psychology. What started as a side project to help cover her tuition — real estate — became a life-long passion. Eventually leaving counseling to pursue her passion full-time, Cynthia sold two homes on her very first day as an agent in Hawaii and was hooked.

Cynthia balances creativity with an analytical mind to help her clients evaluate and compare assets, find great properties and great values, and strategically research listings that fit their specific goals. Her background in counselling makes Cynthia one of the best listeners and advisers.

She is a valuable resource for her clients combining her experience in property management, interior design, and renovations. Also familiar with sales of commercial properties, 1031s, reverse exchanges, foreclosures, and short sales, Cynthia is eager to help her clients with any real estate need.

Cynthia finds plenty of inspiration for her camera and oil paints on Balboa Island where she loves to watch the Great Blue Heron and other birds. She’s proud to help clients locate the best schools, cultural attractions, culinary delights, entertainment, and shopping in the surrounding neighborhoods.
