The Orange County Fair is a Summer Must!

A whirlwind of friend Oreos, hypnotists, carnival rides, concerts, petting zoos, quilting competitions, and even pig races, the Orange County Fair will entertain the entire family like nothing else can. We’re partial to the food scene (fried food fantasy of our dreams!) and the outdoor concerts at the Pacific Amphitheater. Pro tip: entry to the fair is free with a concert ticket, so enjoy a ride or two before seeing acts like Trevor Noah, Counting Crows, and Kool and the Gang. Row upon row of one-of-a-kind treasures await at the the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach. Take a drive down PCH to Newport’s neighboring beach town known for its art and soul. The magic of Laguna Beach culminates at the Sawdust Festival, with music, installations, glass blowing, metal smithing, and local art for you to discover – all amongst the eucalyptus trees. At the very end of the Newport Beach peninsula you’ll find a bayside locale packed with fun and games, aptly named The Fun Zone. With a waterfront Ferris wheel, arcade, restaurants, souvenir and ice creams shops, the Fun Zone makes for a fabulous afternoon any day of the week. But on the fourth Thursday of every month, things get a whole lot more festive with the new ‘Makers in the Zone’ events. Shop local artisan goods, sip on craft beer, and listen to laid back tunes in the timeless Americana ambiance. It’s summer at its best!
